I a connoisseur of truffle salt! This is THE BEST out there! Use it on eggs, avocado toast, potatoes, frittatas….well, as my niece says….I use it on almost EVERYTHING!
Ditch the truffle oil, use this instead. I put it on eggs, in soups and bone broth right before serving, on salads, avocado toast, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, unsalted nut butters on toast... There's nothing I can salt that doesn't taste better with truffle salt, and Hepp's is the best truffle salt I've ever found. And I've LOOKED. Do yourself a favor and get the pouch, then transfer it to an air tight container wide enough to grab a pinch.
This is an extremely well done Truffle salt. Its a fabulous value. It is neck and neck with another brand. I can say that this salt has the strong aroma that I desire and appreciate. I use it on eggs of any kind, Corn on the Cobb, a plain ole' baked potato with Greek Yoghurt and snipped Chives. I use it in my Grits with 2 soft poached eggs, caramelized onions, red bell pepper, cheddar cheese, Garlic, dry wine, and Sage. Like the other fellow who posted a review in August, I would ditch the oil too, unless you need the Truffle oil for Popcorn. I am very loyal to this brand. I pray they do not make any changes! [Know that I have an Organic mini farm, grow my own herbs and I am a snobby chef.]
